Northwood, IA

While mostly hurrying across Iowa, one day I made a little pit stop in the small town of Northwood, IA to let Lucy stretch her legs and enjoy the nice little park they have.

Brownsville, OR

I saw a sign for a museum along I-5 so I decided to take the exit and look for it. I ended up about 5 miles off the interstate in the town of Brownsville. A nice little town with a quaint, but busy, historic downtown.

I never did find the museum but it was still a nice little place to visit!

This is half a shed with a sign saying it is meant to be a tree house, for photo ops/selfies. Soooo....

Niland, CA

I am really late posting this and other posts I will be doing today. I spend the end of January down at Slab City as previously posted. Here are a couple photos I took in town at Niland, CA.

 

I wonder what this building was... a bank perhaps? It is rather massive. It's a few blocks from CA-111 otherwise perhaps it wouldn't have been left so abandoned. The rear of it is being used for a metal recycling business.

Huh... that's something you don't see everyday; horses outside of a laundromat. 

(I did laundry there before I left out on Feb 3)

Tombstone, AZ Revisited

I revisited Tombstone, AZ today to do a bit of sight seeing I missed back in November since I am about to leave the area.

I am too tired to add photo captions to check back in a few days to see if they have been added.

Bisbee, AZ

I drove down to Bisbee AZ this morning and had a good look around. Then I went to Tombstone (again) and did a bit more sight seeing there.
